Monti's Rotisserie - Montgomery Village
If you are looking for a nice restaurant to visit with your spouse, family or friends where you can include your preschooler too, check out Monti’s in Montgomery Villlage. Featuring food created by an award winning chef, Monti’s also offers a children’s menu that is sure to please your preschooler.Monti’s offers Mediterranean inspired food with daily specials. The menu includes both small and large plates that feature fresh local meats and seasonal produce. They also offer pizzas, pastas, salads and even have a raw bar. Best of all, they have a children’s menu with preschooler friendly food that is well made and tastes great!

The children’s menu includes cheese pizza, chicken strips with fries, buttered pasta with cheese, sides of vegetables or fries. All of these items are made fresh, not from a freezer or out of a box so you can be sure that you are feeding your preschooler quality food.
Advantages for Preschoolers
Preschoolers are given a menu “printed” on a chalkboard slate and given chalk to draw with on the back of the slate menu. Since this is something new compared to the standard crayons and paper menu, it will keep them busy while they wait for lunch. Also, if your preschooler has a lot of energy and can’t sit still you can take them outside and stroll around Montgomery Village until the food is served. They have outdoor seating as well. There is a big stone grizzly bear right outside the restaurant entrance that is sure to delight your preschooler.
Advantages for Parents/Caregivers of Preschoolers
As a parent or caregiver of a preschooler you probably don’t have very much “alone time” that will allow for you to enjoy a grownup restaurant. The food at Monti’s is outstanding! And, being able to enjoy it with your whole family makes the experience even better.
Disadvantages for Preschoolers
Although they have a children’s menu for both lunch and dinner, I recommend visiting Monti’s for lunch if you are going to include your preschooler. The ambiance is casual during the day but tends to get a bit more “grownup” in the evenings. To avoid disturbing someone’s first date, anniversary dinner, or birthday celebration it is best to stick with a lunch time visit unless you are sure your preschooler will behave appropriately.Details
