Tommy Tucker's - Windsor

Located just off the green in Old Downtown Windsor, Tommy Tucker’s is a parents dream. Providing drop in care for your preschooler, Tommy Tucker’s Children’s Activity Center will allow you the time you need to run your errands while your preschooler has fun exploring in an environment created just for them. With plenty of games, toys, pretend play, arts and crafts, and an area for movie time your preschooler is sure to stay entertained and may not want to leave when you return!

What to Expect

When you walk in, you will notice how clean and well lit the large open space is. There are child size tables and chairs for doing craft projects or having a snack or meal, a pretend kitchen area, bins of toys, cushiony bean bags in the movie viewing area, books, games, and much more. The attendants are there to play with your preschooler and keep him/her engage in activities during their stay.

Some parents may not be comfortable leaving their preschooler in a new environment with people they don’t know. This is understandable but to ease your mind, all attendants are CPR and First Aid Certified, the facility is equipped with security cameras throughout and there is an electronically monitored entry gate so only children and staff are allowed to enter the studio floor.

Most preschoolers get bored being dragged around while you do your errands. Tommy Tucker’s gives them an opportunity to have fun while mom or dad takes care of the “boring stuff.” They will be able to play, do crafts, watch movies, and engage in social interaction with other children. They are given snacks and/or meals depending on the time of day.

Benefits to Parents of Preschoolers

For only $10 per hour, Tommy Tucker’s gives you some much needed time to take care of things, provides crafts, meals, snacks and loads of fun for your preschooler. The take children age 2-12 so siblings can enjoy the fun as well. Children do not have to be potty trained either. They are open until 9pm on Friday and Saturday nights so you and your spouse can enjoy a “grown up” dinner date if you want.
