Santa Rosa Parks & Recreation Classes
Flipping through the Santa Rosa Parks and Recreation “Adventure Guide,” you not only will find classes that peak your interest but you will find classes offered for preschool age children as well. With courses offered on such topics as horsemanship, cooking, ecology, and more you are sure to find a class that your preschooler will enjoy. Take a look at the classes listed below. All are appropriate for preschool age children. When you begin to look for classes for your preschooler, turn to about the middle of the “Adventure Guide” to the pages with the Youth heading. All classes list an age range for participation. Days, times, class duration, and cost vary greatly so look over all of your options before you choose. There is a class description for each course offered so you can be sure you are enrolling your preschooler in something he/she will enjoy and find interesting.

Benefits to Preschoolers
These short courses allow your preschooler to socialize with other children their own age and it starts to get them familiar with listening to a “teacher.” Not to mention the learning and exploration that will take place in ANY of these classes. Having attended Tiny Tots and Kindergym with my own daughter, I can say that Santa Rosa Parks and Recreation does a great job educating the “preschooler community.”Disadvantages to Preschoolers
You know your preschooler best. If he/she is not socially ready for this type of education, don’t force it! It will only make things harder for both you and your preschooler. Also, just choose one class at a time. Don’t over schedule your preschool by signing up for too many classes at once. Choose one that you know he/she will be interested in and give it a try. Keep the experience fun, not exhausting!Details
