Mrs. Grossman's Paper Company
A wonderful sticker factory tour for sticker loving preschoolers!
Mrs. Grossman's Paper Company Tour
The tour consists of a video, factory tour, and a sticker project at the end. There is a sticker museum that shows every sticker Mrs. Grossman’s has ever made and a company store where you can buy, what else, STICKERS!
The cost is extremely reasonable, $3 per person (over the age of 3) but you get a coupon with your ticket for $3 to use in the company store. So, if you plan on purchasing some sort of memento or souvenir at the end, the tour is pretty much free.
Advantages for Preschoolers touring Mrs. Grossman's
The first part of the tour consists of a video that describes the history of Mrs. Grossman and her sticker factory. Although the attention span of most preschoolers can be pretty short, the video is narrated by a dog, Angus, so it keeps their attention. Also, the tour guides let the children answer questions at the end of the video for a chance to “win” stickers.Disadvantages for Preschoolers touring Mrs. Grossman's
The main disadvantage is that strollers are not allowed on the actual tour of the factory. So, be sure that your preschooler is ready for a little bit of a walk while holding your hand. For younger preschoolers, you may want to bring a back pack type carrier for them.
